Alba – Prototype of a Vase in PP, Inspired by Water Towers
Alba is inspired by the iconic architecture of water towers, which represent a balance between function and aesthetics. This design tribute reflects the strength and beauty of these structures, which store and distribute the most essential resource in life: water. The form combines clean lines and subtle curves that reflect the geometric simplicity and robustness of water towers.
Polypropylene is chosen for its durability, light weight, and recyclability. It allows for the creation of a vase with a long lifespan that is environmentally friendly and easy to reuse.
Alba has a tapering base and a wider upper part, reflecting the silhouette of a water tower. This provides both stability and a generous opening for flower arrangement.
The PP material makes the vase resistant to impacts and moisture, making it ideal for daily use. The vase is easy to clean and is available in several soft, natural colors.
Alba is designed with sustainability in mind. It can be melted down and recycled without losing the properties of the material, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy. Additionally, the product can be made with recycled PP to further reduce environmental impact.
